Your main email is the key to every other account, because it is used to reset the passwords of other services. Protect it before anything else.
- (10 minutes) Turn on two-step verification for your main email, then continue with your bank, social media and your Apple/Google account
- (10 minutes) Install a password manager and give your email and bank unique passwords
- (5 minutes) Turn on automatic updates on your phone and computer
- (5 minutes) Set a screen lock and turn on “Find My Device”
